Barton Regatta is Norfolks best known hire fleet regatta and has been running in October every year, for over 40 years. Based at the heart of the Norfolk Broads National Park you will experience the thrill of racing a yacht during the day and return to accommodation at the beautiful How Hill Nature Reserve every evening.
Optional evening activities include a first night social with meal and race briefing, a mid week meal and get together and a final night awards dinner with presentations and prizes galore!
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - we offer both skippered and self-sail packages. If you are new to sailing you will be allocated a skipper who will meet you each morning and race with you every day. There will be plenty of time to talk tactics and by the end of the week you will be sure to have caught the racing bug!
All racing participants will be based on the pontoon in the middle of Barton Broad. There will be 3 races to participate in most days and a pontoon cafe with refreshments, soup, sandwiches and cake to keep your energy levels up throughout.
We will have exclusive use of the beautiful How Hill for our evening accommodation with ensuite rooms, a lounge and conservatory area for evening socilaising, an honesty bar and hot food available throughout the week.
