Train for GO-TRI 2 (Complete Beginners)

An eight-week programme for people that who would like to complete their first ever triathlon but don't know where to start.
The programme, consisting of one-hour coached sessions* every Sunday with triathlon coach Fiona Hoare, will teach you all the skills you need to compete in a triathlon in a fun and relaxed environment. The final session is a beginners triathlon, giving you a chance to put everything you have learnt into practice in a triathlon with manageable distances.
The first session will take place between 12pm - 1pm meeting at The Edge (Willow Terrace Road, LS2 9JT)(Unless otherwise stated), where there is free parking available. Session times may vary slightly in later weeks due to facility availability, we will contact you weekly by email to let you know what time and what to bring.
All you need to participate in this is a swimming costume / shorts and some clothes to run & cycle in. If you have a bike and helmet to use then that is great, but if you don't have one then please let us know and we will provide them when required.
Wk 1 (5th February) - Run
Wk 2 (12th February) - Cycle & Run
Wk 3 (19th February) - Swim
Wk 4 (26th February) - Transition Skills and Drills
Wk 5 (5th March) - Cycling on the road
Wk 6 (12th March) - Swim & Run
Wk 7 (19th March) - Race Preparation*
Wk 8 (26th March) - GO TRI - (8 length swim) & (3 lap cycle* / 1 lap run*)
*Sessions will take place at the brand new Cycle Track at Weetwood Sports Park (Parking Available)(Transport will be available from The Edge to the Cycle Track if required)
