Train Tameside 500 - Official Launch

Train Tameside 500 is a collaboration between Tameside College and Tameside MBC to celebrate and promote the critical role employers play in developing skills and training across the borough.

The Train Tameside 500 launch will amplify the messages of growth and support to match future talent with the borough’s ambitions.

Guest speakers, including prominent public figures, will celebrate the critical role employers play in offering apprenticeships, placements and different work experiences to students entering the labour market. This is an invitation only event that will be attended by up to fifty local employers who are committed to training and skills development.

The launch will also acknowledge leading businesses and the social and economic impact they make in supporting training and skills across Tameside. Certificates of recognition will be presented to five key employers during the event.
