Health Champions are people who, with relevant and free training and support, transform the health and well-being of their friends, families, colleagues and communities. Health Champions share essential information and health messages to enable others to enjoy healthier lives. Ealing Health Champions are part of the new Help Your Health programme - designed to reduce health inequalities in Ealing through a programme of information, training and volunteering.

This workshop will help you to:

  • Understand how effective communication can support health messages
  • Know how to promote improvements in health and well-being to individuals
  • Understand the impact of change on improving an individual’s health and well being

The 2 days cover the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement. To receive the qualification you will have the opportunity to sit a simple test at the end of the 2nd day - this consists of 30 multiple choice questions over 45 minutes.

You are invited to attend this two day training programme if you want to know how to improve health standards within your community and you work, volunteer, live or are involved with a community organisation in Ealing.
