Event description

Description

If you are thinking of training to teach in Birmingham and the West Midlands, then this is THE event to be at!

Teaching can be an exciting, rewarding and fulfilling career. With the wide range of training courses on offer it can be quite confusing for those who may be interested in joining the profession on how to go about it. This event includes workshops, sessions and drop-in clinics to guide potential trainee teachers through the process of applying to become a teacher.

We want this event to be more than just a sales pitch from different training providers. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to gain advice on how to successfully apply for teacher training in Birmingham.

Experts will be on hand from Primary, Secondary and Special teaching schools to help guide attendees through the UCAS system, how to prepare for the interview and what eligibility criteria they must meet in order to apply.

With so many schools now looking to employ teachers who have come through a School Direct route, this really is a popular way to train to be a teacher – with real, hands-on school experience from the very start of the programme.

We look forward to helping you on the first steps of your new career!
