Are you already working in a SEND school or setting, as an unqualified teacher, teaching assistant or in learning support?

Are you passionate about teaching children with SEND but are not working in a school yet?

If you have a degree, Coventry University's National Institute of Teaching and Education's PGCE with QTS: SEND offers initial teacher training (ITT) that provides a specialist PGCE course that enables you to gain QTS while on placement or employed in specialist settings.

If you do not have a degree, our undergraduate pathways can be completed in specialist settings.

Whichever works for you, the course will prepare you to teach whilst enabling you to specialise in SEND.

This webinar will provide you with the opportunity to find out about:

  • Entry requirements
  • Fees and funding
  • Course content and structure
  • Teaching commitment
  • School requirements
  • Second School Placement arrangements

We will cover the most frequently asked questions, but if you have others you will be able to put them to us at the end of the session.

If you are a school leader and have staff you think might be interested in training with us, please email nite.partnerships@coventry.ac.uk to arrange a one-to-one call with our team.
