Trainers’ Day

Welcome to Trainers’ Day 2025!

The Trainers’ Day is always intended as a forum to share best practice on the subject of training prospective and existing licensees working under ASPA.

In our showcase session this year, we will be focusing on the conundrum of how do we teach and assess ‘Ethics’? We will also be looking at the revision of the training and assessing competency guidance, focussing on challenges and how to overcome them, and what training and competency look like. The day will conclude by discussing the training and assessment of trainers and assessors.

The event will be at the Impact Hub, 1 Triton Square, Euston, London, making travel and local accommodation easy.

A day of talks and discussion, we will have posters, trade stands and refreshments.

We have a limited number of spaces for posters, and are keen to discuss a variety of species, so if you work with a non-rodent species and would like to give a talk or provide a poster, please do let us know. We obviously also welcome posters regarding rodents too!
