Training: An introduction to the human rights-based approach
Overview
Human rights provide a powerful framework for social change. They articulate the basic needs and freedoms that must be upheld for everyone to live in dignity and outline the legal and moral standards against which governments and institutions can be held to account.
A human rights-based approach (HRBA) places these principles at the centre of our work, ensuring that people - especially those most affected - are meaningfully involved in the decisions, policies, and programmes shaping their lives.
By focusing on participation, accountability, non-discrimination and equality, empowerment, and legality, this approach can strengthen advocacy, improve policy, and help organisations drive long-term, sustainable change.
Join Just Fair as we deliver an open practical training for members of the UK ESCR Network introducing the human rights-based approach and how to apply it.
What will be covered
