You are invited to this free and informative two-part workshop designed to equip you with the skills to help alleviate the impacts of two of the most common issues affecting vulnerable people in the UK today.

Training on fuel poverty at 10am

This course is aimed at frontline workers wanting to learn more about fuel poverty, causes, and links with physical and mental wellbeing. Learn how to identify those at risk of fuel poverty and help them to:

  • Switch energy supplier
  • Cope with fuel debt
  • Access the Warm Home Discount
  • Improve the warmth and comfort of their home during winter for less
  • Access grants for energy efficiency measures

Training on Dementia at 11am

The Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends training will provide you with information to improve your understanding of dementia and how you can support people living with the disease.
