Training for Trainers in European Solidarity Corps
Event Information
Description
Register until Friday 11th January 2019, 23.30 GMT
The UK National Agency is funding a national event to support trainers who will be providing training and support to young people involved in European Solidarity Corps projects.
Seeking to bridge the gap between EVS and the European Solidarity Corps; ‘Training for Trainers’ is an opportunity to discuss the core values and features of Erasmus+ volunteering whilst also looking ahead at the future of volunteering – European Solidarity Corps – and reviewing some of the queries that may arise as a result of the initiation of the new programme.
The planned training event will give trainers working in the field of the European Solidarity Corps an opportunity to gain a greater insight into the new initiative and how to support young people during the training and evaluation cycle. In addition, the training will encourage attendees to actively share ideas, tools, methods and challenges as a method of supporting active discussions and the sharing of good practices.
The training will combine information with workshops in a non-formal learning approach, encouraging the active involvement of participants.
We hope all participants will take an active role, express themselves and share examples of good practices.
Who should attend?
