- The role of professionals: the duties and responsibilities of various professionals, who contribute to EHC Needs Assessments and Plans, such as teachers, SENCOs, educational psychologists, health and social care professionals.
- Identifying and assessing needs: identify a child or young person's special educational needs (SEN), including learning difficulties and disabilities, and how to assess their educational, health, and social care needs.
- Providing advice that is fit for purpose: how to develop clear, concise advice for an EHC Needs Assessment, focused outcomes for the child or young person and how to identify the appropriate special educational provision to meet those outcomes.
- Developing legally-complaint EHC Plan: Explore the key components of an effective EHC plan, focusing on how to clearly outline a child's needs, the provision required to meet those needs, and methods for monitoring progress.
