Training Needs Analysis
Effective training contributes directly to organisational and individual performance. As a result, it is critical to be able to identify specific training requirements so these can be conveyed accurately to potential suppliers so that training programmes can be targeted in their focus.
On completion of this session participants will:
· Understand the different types of training needs required to deliver effective performance and achieve competency;
· Be aware of a range of approaches that can be used to capture and identify organisational, team and individual training requirements; and
· Be able to specify training requirements more definitively going forward.
Lecturing and group discussion including some practical exercises will feature where delegates will be required to apply learning to their own context and examples.

Trainer Overview:
Kathleen McKinley, Managing Director of Elite Training NI Ltd, has been designing and delivery training for over 30 years across a wide range of sectors including private, public and voluntary sectors. She has also assisted companies develop role specific training programmes; some of which have achieved awards at National level as well as assisting in building the competency levels of in-house trainers to provide on-going quality training. As a result, Kathleen has accumulated a wealth of insight into the skills required to achieve competency in a broad range of roles ranging from operative right through to Executive Director level.
