This training session on allegations for those working in supported accommodation will focus on understanding the difference between allegations and complaints, and how to respond to these effectively.

Participants will learn about the procedures for responding to allegations, including how to ensure the safety and dignity of all those involved, how to report incidents in line with the necessary protocols, and how to collaborate with external agencies as required. The session will also cover the importance of maintaining confidentiality, managing the emotional impact on young people and staff, and ensuring fair investigations. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately to allegations, ensuring a safe and transparent environment in supported accommodation settings.
