Making an impression – when speaking in public
22 March 2016 at 6.00pm -8.30pm
Venue: The Sun at Lemsford
FSB Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire is delighted to welcome you to our programme of friendly, evening, pub-based training seminars, designed to help small business owners learn something new from fellow small business owners over a bite to eat and a pint or glass of wine! Please find details below watch out for other events in the series.
How do you feel when you have to speak in public? That might be delivering the 60 second ‘elevator speech’ at a business network; you may be pitching to a potential new client; you have to present to the Board or you are going to do a presentation to a large group of people, whether strangers or your employees.
While some people love public speaking, others live in dread at just the thought of it. We have all endured one of those ’death by Powerpoint’ presentations where even the most interesting and knowledgeable people can kill off an audience through their lack of engagement and presentation skills.
There are some very simple techniques you can learn that can make a huge difference to you. If you run a business, whether it’s a sizeable company or a one person operation, this is a training you shouldn’t miss.
