About this Event
FRAME in partnership with the University of Nottingham will be holding an Online Training School in conjunction with Moredun Research Institute on 12-16th April 2021.
This is the thirteenth collaborative Training School which is aimed at postgraduate level or above.
This Training School, will:
- provide researchers with an understanding of basic design concepts;
- give researchers the ability to use more efficient designs for their experiments;
- stimulate engagement with the Three Rs; and
- enable access to expert tutors.
The Training Schools are highly interactive and include live online lectures, group discussions and individual exercises. The programme is structured to lead participants from simple experimental design and statistical ideas, through more complex methods and analysis to effective presentation of findings. Participants are also able to discuss their own research problems/experiences with the expert tutors.
Registration is at a special subsidised price thanks to support from FRAME and Laboratory Animals Limited.

The Training School will be delivered online using Zoom, we recommend to gain the full benefit from the course that participants have access to a camera and microphone.
PLEASE NOTE REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY 2nd APRIL 2021 AT 5pm.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing by email by 02/04/2021. There will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the total cost or 100% after this date. Substitute participants may be accepted.
Accreditation
The Training School is accredited by FELASA and qualifies for 10 LASA CPD points.
