This seminar allows professionals to have a better understanding of what Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is and the new statutory duty for police, healthcare professionals, and social workers in preventing FGM against girls and young women. The event will be valuable for anyone who works with domestic and sexual abuse at any level. This includes frontline practitioners from all voluntary and statutory sectors, such police officers, social workers, healthcare professionals, head of safeguarding, teachers, and managers.
