About this event
About the Workshop
Step into a welcoming, high-energy dance workshop exploring inclusive practice with artists Eilidh McGrath and Alex McCabe — a duo of disabled and non-disabled dancers.
Together, we’ll move, experiment, and share ideas, using Universal Design as a springboard for creating dance spaces where everyone belongs.
Through playful exercises and thought-provoking discussion, we’ll reimagine how dance can hold difference, while diving into big questions about disability rights and the language we use in the arts.
About the Workshop Leaders
Eilidh McGrath is a dancer and choreographer exploring the art form through a lens of queerness and disability - developing themes around closeness, distance, and identity. Eilidh has overcome many barriers to participation in the arts, living as she does with Cerebral Palsy.
