Come along to our FREE event to find out how you or your organisation could be a part of the success story.
Ever been on a training course that had room for a few extra people?
We all have.
Training4Good finds those courses (in private, public and third sector 'in house' courses, and spare capacity in the education sector) and matches volunteers, staff and trustees from charities and social enterprises to those otherwise wasted places.
It's a 'win-win' formula - charities get access to quality training at very little cost; businesses and other organisations with spare training capacity can give away something at very little marginal cost to themselves, whilst extending their support to the local community.
We trialled the Training4Good model last year with a small group of organisations, and now, (with the help of some funding from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation) we are delighted to be able to open up Training4Good to a wider range of organisations through our 2014 offer.
If you are a York-based business, public or charity sector organisation interested in helping the local charity and social enterprise sector through your training provision, or a 'third sector' organisation looking for help with developing your people's skills - this event will give you an opportunity to find out how Training4Good could work for you.
We are pleased to announce that guest speaker Tom Levitt will be giving an overview, from a national perspective, about cross-sector partnerships.
In this session we will:
- Give an overview of Training4Good
- Show how it benefits everyone taking part
- Explain how we have responded to your feedback
- And ask for some more feedback...!
- Find out how you can get involved in 2014
This is a FREE event and a light buffet lunch will be provided. Please book for the event now so we can make sure there are refreshments for everyone, and do get in touch if you have any questions. Please ensure you book by 21st March.
If you can't make it on 28 March 2014 but are interested in taking part in T4G this year - please get in touch as soon as possible. T4G opportunities will only be available to a limited number of organisations this year and you need to be registered with us to take part.

Creating Space For You (CIC)
Creating Space For You is a Community Interest Company, incorporated in November 2010, which delivers coaching, training and development. We decided to form a CIC (Community Interest Company) to reflect our socially rooted aims and objectives.
We passionately believe in the capability of organisations, individuals and communities to develop and progress. Our aim is to work with others to make this a reality.
We enable this by focussing on the following objectives.
· Design and deliver accredited and non-accredited training courses, coaching and development opportunities to organisations, individuals and communities
· Facilitate network meetings, partnership working and contribute skills to collaborative projects that benefit the community
· Offer advice and guidance and coaching to help individuals progress
· Involve volunteers in our work
· Adhere to our values in all we do
