Trans Talks: Trans Representation in the Media

This session will focus on trans representation in media and social media — how trans people are portrayed in film, TV, news, and online platforms, and what impact that has on our lives, identities, and broader public perception. We'll look at both positive and problematic portrayals, consider how representation has changed over time, and reflect on how social media has opened up space for trans voices — while also bringing its own challenges.

There will be a short talk to open the session, followed by group discussion. All trans people and questioning folks are welcome.
