Transatlantic dialogue on agricultural innovation for a sustainable food system

About this event

The EU and the U.S. have entered a new era of positive Transatlantic engagement, with a focus on enhancing cooperation to achieve common sustainability goals.

Both the EU and the U.S. have set themselves an ambitious objective to become carbon-neutral by 2050 and are stepping up efforts across all sectors of the economy to ensure these targets are met.

Scientific research and innovation in agriculture will enable the transition towards a sustainable food system that can contribute to the achievement of the EU and the U.S. climate goals.

The objective of this online event is to promote a dialogue between EU and U.S. stakeholders on agricultural policy, focusing on how enhanced cooperation in scientific research and agricultural innovation can accelerate the transition towards a sustainable food system on both sides of the Atlantic.
