Transference-Focused Psychotherapy 6-Day Training Programme

The London Transference-Focused Psychotherapy Group invite you to attend their 6-Day Transference-Focused Psychotherapy training programme.
All training days will be held at the Ortus, Maudsley Learning Centre, 82-96 Grove Lane, London SE5 8SN (09:30-16:30hrs tbc). The whole programme fee is £1000.00 + VAT (20%) + Eventbrite fee

Frank Denning is Principal Adult Psychotherapist with the Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust and is one of the UK's leading practitioners in the field of specialist psychotherapy for borderline personality disorder. Frank is a teacher and supervisor of Transference-Focused Psychotherapy, certified by the Personality Disorders Institute of the Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, where TFP was developed. Frank is also a member of the ISTFP Training Committee and Board of Supervisors. Frank was the first person in the UK to be trained to the level of TFP Teacher and Supervisors. He has run a number of teaching workshops over the past few years and supervises therapists who are using TFP in London, Manchester and Hull.
Diana Diamond, PhD, is Professor in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at the City University of New York and is an Adjunct Professor in Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She is author or editor of a number of books including most recently Attachment and Sexuality. Her current research is on the treatment process and outcome with patients with co-morbid narcissistic and borderline disorders, and on changes in representations of self and significant others in borderline patients after one year of TFP. She is a graduate of the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychoanalysis and a graduate of the IPTAR training program in executive coaching and organizational consultation. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and a member at large of the board of directors of Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) APA.
