Transforming your career – one day workshop

Are you ready to change your working life, to set career goals and a clear plan for achieving them?

Do you want to find a way to combine an ambitious career and your personal goals?

Our workshop offers you a whole day to focus on you and your work, to step out of the pressures of day-to-day life and make time for you and your goals. We’ll focus on critical questions: what do you want; and how can you make it happen?

Our workshop will use interactive exercises and focused and inspiring masterclasses to uncover your goals, priorities, talents and ambitions, and turn those into reality, alongside like-minded people at the same point in their journey.

You’ll learn how to:

- Build rapidly effective relationships

- Negotiate effectively, with a focus on salary and role parameters and career trajectories

- Communicate effectively

- Map your skills and build your best CV

- Develop an action plan from which to achieve your goals

Read the itinerary below.

To get the most out this event, we will ask you to complete two short pre-work exercises before joining the workshop.

Experienced course leaders will take you through an expertly curated process to help you achieve your goals – read their bios and testimonials below.

Set in a Central London location, and working with a select group of people, this in an exceptional group experience.

Session 3: Negotiation workshop
A highly-regarded expert will help you develop the new skills you’ll need to negotiate and influence. These skills are vital when agreeing working patterns, roles, responsibilities and salaries.

Lunch: a light (but delicious) lunch.

Session 4: Communication
Building on the networking and negotiation sessions, we’ll use a game to practice and refine communication skills.

Coffee break

Session 5: Skills mapping
Time to think about your skills, drawing on all areas of your life. There is strong evidence that we are great at seeing one-another's strengths, but less good at seeing our own. So we will form small groups to challenge each other to set out an honest, fullsome, and inspiring skills map.

Session 6: Goal re-setting
After a day of fun, a space to reflect again on your ambitions and goals, to identify challenges and create a plan to address these.

Every attendee will go home with a goody bag and lots of future plans!
