Series One: Introduction to Meditation and the Spiritual Path
About this event
The foundation of real happiness is inner peace. Through meditation we can learn to make our mind peaceful, and through mindfulness we can bring this peace into our busy daily lives. The confused and negative states of mind that cause our suffering will gradually diminish, and our heart will become peaceful, open and courageous. In this series of classes we will learn to begin a regular meditation practice which we can use to solve common emotional problems like anger, worry and dependency.
Each class will consist of two guided meditations and practical advice from the Buddhist tradition. Suitable for everyone.
