Transform your organisation with Appreciative Inquiry
Thu 3 November 2016, 09:00 – 12:30 GMT
Appreciative Inquiry* is the study of and focus on what works well in a business and can be (and has been) used to transform business performance. In every organisation or team there are things that work: strategies, skills, strengths, behaviours etc. By recognising and amplifying those winning elements, an organisation can expect to benefit from improved results, improved relationships and a highly supportive and collaborative working environment.
Who is this event for?
This is an interactive, participative masterclass for organisational leaders and directors interested in introducing an environment of positivity, appreciation, collaboration and risk-taking in their business.
What will you learn?
- Techniques to reframe the language you use
- A model for implementing personal or organisational change
- A focus on excellence rather than perfection
- A strength based approach to performance communications
- A greater awareness of your personal image
Through group discussion and practical examples we will be exploring how you can use the Appreciative Inquiry methodology in your business. We will draw upon the links with positive psychology - working with strengths and conscious use of language - to offer an introduction to this approach for individual and organisational transformation.
This session will be led by Shaun Durham, Managing Director of Crisp Professional Development.
*'Appreciative Inquiry' adopts the US spelling instead of the UK version 'Appreciative Enquiry' since it's methodology was developed in the United States.
