We're holding our first ever make-up night for trans women - and we can't wait!!
Join is at this event as part of our celebration of LGBT History Month. This year, the theme is centered around wellbeing, PSHE and citizenship. We wanted to celebrate fun and wellbeing and thought what better way than to come and get made up by professional make-up artists.
We're very sorry we're only now advertising this event for next week!! We've been trying hard to find a venue, and we've been having some difficulty finding the right place.
Thankfully, we've found one! And it's going to be amazing!
As this is the first one, we're hoping as many people around the South East Wales area will come along and make it a great night.
We've got a few make-up artists kindly donating their time to demonstrate their skills and give you some tips and tricks of the trade.
The event will be held in the stage dressing rooms (complete with vintage lit mirrors) at the recently refurbished Newbridge Memo, Hight Street, Newbridge, NP11 4FH.
We wanted it to be a friendly, cosy, inclusive and a safe environment for trans women to come together and have fun.
As well as learning some make-up tips, you'll be meeting other women at different stages of their transition. We wanted it to be an opportunity for people to meet each other, share experiences and hopefully build friendships that could last beyond the event.
Come as you are!
The event is also open to anyone questioning their gender identity who just want to meet others.
Please come along dressed as you feel comfortable. There's no pressure to express in any way for the event. We just want people to have a good evening.
We're really excited about the event, and we hope to see as many of you there as possible. Please join us to make our first Transformation event a success.
Please feel free to bring a friend too!
