Our Breathwork Session is a powerful journey inward, using conscious and connected breathing techniques to help you release tension, access deeper emotional layers, and cultivate a profound sense of clarity and calm.

Guided in a safe and supportive space, in the comfort of a beautiful private residence in Kensington, near Holland Park. You'll be invited to explore the breath as a tool for healing—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Join Trauma-Informed Somatic Breathwork Practitioner, Shelley Smith of Joy Juice as we dive into the subconscious in this Breathwork Journey experience.

Together we get out of the analytical mind and move into the body's electromagnetic operating system that influences our subconscious. Activating a series of breath patterns in rhythm with music, we consciously activate the sympathetic nervous system (which controls the fight-or-flight response) to release stored and stuck emotions. In this space, we are given the opportunity to reconnect with our soul and intuition, rewiring our nervous system with new beliefs that are aligned with our highest self.

Shelley intuitively guides sessions that support the breathers' intentions and creates opportunities to journey deeper while feeling safe and held, by combining breath, reiki and guided visualization. We invite you to revel in the deliciousness of your unique, vibrant soul as we breathe deep, where the magic lives.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is a term used for various styles of conscious breathing. Most Breathwork practices come from ancient yoga traditions and are based on Pranayama, which is the regulation of breath through specific techniques and exercises. Our approach centers on the powerful 3-part circular breathing method, enhanced by a carefully curated musical backdrop, providing a pathway to profound mental and physical renewal.

What are the benefits of breathwork?

The benefits of Breathwork are extensive and can significantly enhance your quality of life. Here are some of the key advantages you can experience:

Mind:

Brings mental clarity, helps with depression, stress and anxiety, helps us feel more centered, helps us to reprogram our ways of thinking and break destructive thought patterns

Body:

Increased energy levels, improved sleep quality, boosts immunity, enhanced concentration, promotes detoxification, balancing nervous system leading to improved stress management and reduced anxiety.

Soul:

Assists in exploring altered states of consciousness, taps us into our intuition, unlocks creativity, reconnects us with our inner child, connects us with suppressed feelings of joy, unconditional love, surrender, abundance and playfulness.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience to join?

No experience is necessary! This session is open to all levels, including beginners. You’ll be gently guided through the entire process.

What should I bring?

Everything is provided for you: eye mask, blanket, cushioned mat. Just come in comfy clothes as you'll be laying down.

What does a typical session look like?

The session begins with a brief introduction and grounding, followed by guided breathwork and time for rest and integration. There will becalming music, optional sharing, and some journaling.

Are there any health considerations?

Breathwork can be intense for some people. Please consult your doctor beforehand if you are pregnant or have a history of cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, glaucoma, or mental health conditions like severe anxiety or psychosis.

What might I experience during breathwork?

Everyone's experience is different. Some people feel emotional release, physical sensations, or deep relaxation. All responses are welcome and supported.

Can I leave during the session if I feel overwhelmed?

You’re welcome to pause or step out at any time. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities.

Is this breathwork the same as meditation?

Not quite. While both are mindfulness-based, breathwork is more active and can lead to deeper emotional or physical shifts in a shorter amount of time.
