Event description

Description

In the last fifteen years terrorism and wars in the Middle East have resulted in conversations between Christians and Muslims becoming increasingly difficult, with misunderstanding and stereotyping present on both sides. But is there a fresh way to look at Christian-Muslim relations that will lead to more open and hopeful dialogue.

In the third of the Ekklesia/Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church Creative Conversation, Lord Rowan Williams of Oystermouth (former Archbishop of Canterbury and Master of Magdalene College Cambridge) and Professor Mona Siddiqi (Professor of Islamic and Interreligious Studies, Edinburgh) discuss how we can move forward from the current unhelpful discourse. The event will be chaired by Ekklesia Director, Simon Barrow.
