This event brings together the UK’s immersive (VR/AR) ecosystem and the fashion industry to examine the opportunities presented by immersive technologies and the potential impact on fashion production, showcasing and retailing.
Attendees can look forward to knowledge sharing and development opportunities learn about the forthcoming £33m Audience of the Future Research and Development funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Hosted by Digital Catapult and Immerse UK, in association with The Centre for Fashion Enterprise and The Fashion District (a new creative hub for fashion innovation in East London, that includes key stakeholders London College of Fashion and British Fashion Council) this event will examine the opportunities being presented by immersive (VR/AR) technologies and the potential impact on fashion production, showcasing and retailing.

Fashion District:
The Fashion District is the creative hub for fashion innovation in East London, looking across the supply chain to identify and tackle industry issues, finding solutions and supporting the development of IP, and partner organisations to take it forward.
Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE):
CFE is London’s pioneering fashion business incubator and has been an integral part of London College of Fashion since 2003. Their current Fashion and Technology Emerging Futures (FTEF) project is part-funded by ERDF and supports innovative businesses in fashion, jewellery and fashion tech.
London College of Fashion:
London College of Fashion, UAL is a world leader in fashion design, media and business education. In boundary-pushing research where fashion intersects with science, engineering, and technology, and in enterprise, it partners with top brands and helps launch new businesses.
British Fashion Council:
The British Fashion Council (BFC) is a non-profit trade group for British fashion designers founded in 1983. Its main goal is to promote British fashion design in both the UK and internationally. Organising the twice-yearly London Fashion Week is one of its primary activities.
Immerse UK:
Immerse UK brings together industry, researchers and research organisations, the public sector, entrepreneurs, innovators and end users to support the UK in becoming the global leader in applications of immersive technologies: high-end visualisation, virtual, mixed, and augmented reality, haptics and other sensory interfaces with data.
