Event description

Description

Energy Systems Catapult is hosting its first insight event designed to engage with local authorities in mapping the future of local energy.

This is informed by the Energy Technologies Institute’s innovative work and investment into local area energy planning.

With sessions including ‘Innovation as a driver for local economic growth’, ‘The importance of local area planning’ and ‘Energy system integration guides for local authorities’, this complimentary event appeals directly to chief executives, directors, cabinet members and lead officers with a remit of energy and the environment.

Follow the conversation #LocalEnergyPlanning

The Energy Systems Catapult is a public-private funded, non-profit organisation set up by Government to support innovators across the whole energy sector and drive decarbonisation.

This event is funded by the Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) and the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) as part of its Smart Systems and Heat programme. The ETI is a £400m industry and UK government partnership into low-carbon energy development, demonstration and deployment.
