Please be aware that this course runs across five dates however, you will only receive a ticket for the first date.

The TSRC programme is a sustained, research based CPD programme aimed at primary English Leads. During the TSRC, participants will engage deeply with reading for pleasure pedagogy and leadership theory to transform their school’s reading culture.

Participants will attend five online sessions and complete gap tasks in between sessions. Those who commit will be expected to attend all sessions.

Programme aims:

• Transform whole school reading culture in your school

• Develop the leadership skills to initiate and sustain change

• Become advocates for RfP and share experiences and best practice

• Understand the research underpinning RfP practice and pedagogy

• Widen knowledge of children’s literature

Frequently asked questions

Will I be expected to complete gap tasks?

Yes, there will be work to complete in between each session. The course leader will be able to guide you through each gap task. The tasks are designed so you get the most out of the course and can sustain best practice throughout the year.

Do I need to attend all the sessions?

Yes. The course is designed to support and develop your teaching of early language throughout the whole year. Please do let us know however if you are unable to attend one of the sessions so we can inform the venue of our numbers.
