Event description

Description

Come along to a one hour information session about transgender issues and how we can work towards creating an inclusive environment for transgender staff and students at Queen's and in wider society.

Two information sessions have been scheduled:

  • Thursday 23rd March – 11:00am-12:00pm – Clubroom 2, 3rd floor, Students’ Union

  • Thursday 6th April – 2:00pm-3:00pm – Clubrooms 3&4, 3rd Floor, Students’ Union (This link)

The information sessions, which are open to everyone at Queen's - staff or student - are being organised by the Queen's University Equality & Diversity Unit and Queen's Students' Union. They will be led and facilitated by SAIL NI, a support and advocacy organisation for trans and non-binary people.

More information about SAIL can be found on their website at: https://sailni.com/

Any queries or accessibility requirements can be directed to Stephen McCrystall, VP Equality and Diversity, Queen's Students' Union at: su.vpequality@qub.ac.uk
