Two-Part Series 9th and 16th June 2020

We, Rowlands Recruitment are delighted to bring you a two-part series; arming you with the resilience needed to cope with transitioning back into the workplace. The webinars will be run by two experts in the field of transitions and change, giving you ways to cope and adapt as best possible while change is around us in abundance.

In the webinars we explore the challenges faced by organisations as they transition their employees back into the workplace and how to ensure it doesn't undermine wellbeing and performance. The series will demystify the stress of transitions with an easy to remember framework and tap into some skills, tips and strategies to become more agile and resilient in the face of change.

About our speakers

The series will be delivered by Jon Watkins and David Oglivie from local Jersey Company, Resilience Development Company (

Jon Watkins (FCMI)

Jon is resilience and performance coach and a Special Forces veteran. Jon spent most of his adult life serving in the Royal Marines before serving with UK Special Forces within the Special Boat Service (SBS). Jon’s unique experience means he can pass on the DNA of self-leadership, working in high-performance teams, leading others and adapting, performing and thriving in high pressured and uncertain environments. Jon believes that the best sustainable human performance is a function of character, mindset and skillset. Jon is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and qualified coach.

David Ogilvie (MIoD FCMI)

David has a background in industry and third sector up to board level. He understands the pressures of senior leadership and as an executive coach knows how to help people adapt and deal with it. David’s belief is that the real bottleneck to growth isn't technology but the very human challenges of regulating emotion, mindset and relationships. David is Vice chair of a large health charity, Fellow, mentor and Subject Matter Panel Expert for The Chartered Management Institute.

As we explore the challenges faced by yourself and your people as you transition back into the workplace, we will;

Whether you are a large company with Factilities Manager, Operations staff and IT Team, or perhaps a six person business without any in-house support, the requirements to be met for hygiene, physical distancing measures and effective work practices will take time, investment and innovation. Its vital that you arm yourself with as much information, support and guidance as possible over the coming weeks. This course is an important early stepping stone towards getting back to the workplace in the best way you can.
