Bexley IASS are running TRANSITION WORKSHOPS for parents / carer’s & their children / young people without an EHCP moving from Yr6-Yr7.
About this Event
These will be a group session for parents / carer’s and their children / young people and are specifically aimed at those without an EHCP.
The session will cover:
What is transition
What is SEN support at school
How do schools decide whether your child needs SEN Support
Roles & Responsibilities
Capturing the voice of the child or young person
Approaching the school in Yr7 with concerns
Confidently participating in meetings
Preparing for Yr7 – what to do now
Hints, tips and giveaways to support the transition journey from Year 6 to Year 7.
