Transmitted light microscopy 2025

This workshop is articulated in two parts: Theory lectures in the morning and Hands-on sessions in the afternoon.

Theory lectures will cover the following topics (circa 4 hrs, at the FMI room 0.60/0.61):

• Objectives/NA
• Conjugate planes
• Brightfield
• Darkfield
• Phase contrast
• Polarization
• DIC

Hands-on rotations will cover:

• Conjugate planes
• Koehler illumination
• Demo on darkfield / Phase / Polarization / DIC

For participation in the hands-on session, registration is required, and the presence in the theory sessions is mandatory.

Hands on will take place at the FMI.

Please note that for the theory lectures only, registration is not required.
