Description

The dominant historiography of the French Wars of Religion tends either to have a national or a local perspective. This conference aims to rethink these wars by transnational approaches with ongoing studies presented by:

Megan Armstrong (McMaster U.), Rosanne Baars (U. of Amsterdam), Sara Beam (U. of Victoria), Stuart Carroll (U. of York), Eric Durot (U. of York), Mark Greengrass (U. of Sheffield), Bertrand Haan (U. Paris-Sorbonne), Estelle Paranque (New College of the Humanities), Penny Roberts (U. of Warwick), Violet Soen (U. of Leuven), Jonas van Tol (Leiden U.)
