Significant innovation is taking place in the Mobile, Internet of Things and Transport space, with several approaches and technology streams already underway to address major challenges and end use cases. The organisers of the meeting believe that collaboration opportunities exist to address common approaches to create a next generation eco-system with improved coverage, connectivity and cooperation across multiple transport and ICT sector players, technologies and businesses.
During the meeting experts from the different sectors will review use cases, recent trends, projects and research activities with a view to explore the possibility of establishing a long term strategic approach. The meeting will be chaired by David Hendon CBE, Visiting Professor, University of Surrey and Rich Nicholls, Head of Architecture and Development, Connected Car Vehicle Engineering (VE), Jaguar Land Rover.
