Get crafty and let your imagination run wild with a fun and eco-friendly Upcycled Crafts session run by Creative Makery with Hexham Library and No28 at the Neighbourhood Garden at Hexham First School.
Using scrap materials and every day items you'll create unique, fabulous makes to take home and show off with pride. Whether you're a little maker or a grown-up there's something for everyone to try.
What you'll make:
- Egg Carton Art - turn humble cartons into wild creatures or beautiful blooms!
- Suncatchers - brighten your windows with a splash of upcycled colour
- Traditional Peg Doll Characters - craft your own charming characters from fairies to pirates
Let's reduce waste, spark our creativity and make something truly special. All materials will be provided at this FREE session funded by Libraries Connected and Natural England as the legacy of our Culture Nature project, WinterTide.
All children must be accompanied by an adult - all activities are free to take part - join us for a little or as long a time as you'd like.
This event will take place at the Neighbourhood Garden based at Hexham First School.
