Event description

Description

The Trauma and Attachment Network has been set up for professional discussion and critical exploration of attachment theory and its application to practice. Each network meeting will include some input from a professional working within the field of attachment/trauma, and then time for questions and focused discussion. It will provide a brilliant opportunity to network with practitioners from a range of professional backgrounds with a focus on academic research and evidence.

Attendance at the network is free although small contributions will be welcomed to cover the cost of the venue and refreshments. You are welcome to stay for dinner afterwards (menu available on the Battleaxes website).

Session Themes:

16 April: An Introduction to and Discussion of the Dynamic-Maturational Model of Attachment and Adaptation (Richard Devine, Social Worker) https://tinyurl.com/traumanetwork

18 June: A Critical Exploration of Attachment and Implications for Practice (Dr Will Shield, Educational Psychologist) https://tinyurl.com/traumanetwork2

17 September: Attachment and the Practitioner Self (Dr Rachael Hayes, Educational Psychologist) https://tinyurl.com/traumanetwork3
