The conference and peer forum will consist of a selection of presentations originally delivered by members of ESTD-UK at the ESTD 2014 4th International Conferenceof the same name in Copenhagen in 2014

Hazel Levanthal, Stephanie Howlett, Renee Marks, and Zoë Pool.
The conference includes DVD presentations, workshops and papers covering a diverse range of topics including Working with Children & Adolescents; Working in NHS; Therapeutic Relationship; Three Stages of Therapy; Attachment; and Expressive Arts Therapies.
It provides an opportunity to: Catch up with conference presentations you may have missed; Extend your own thinking, knowledge & understanding of Trauma, Dissociation & Attachment and Network with like-minded colleagues.
The pre-conference workshop will be presented by Stephanie Howlett, head of a specialist psychotherapy service working with medically unexplained symptoms within the Department of Neurology. Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Of interest to anyone working clinically with, not only neurological but also other types of somatisation, this participative workshop uses concepts from Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy, trauma therapy and body-centred approaches. It features exercises and practical approaches that participants can incorporate into their clinical work.
Who should attend one or both days: ESTD members and anyone else working or living with trauma and dissociation, with an interest in the links between these and attachment and/or medically unexplained symptoms. Even if you attended the 2014 Copenhagen conference, the choices available will offer you the opportunity to hear something you might have missed.
The delegate fees are inclusive of refreshments and a networking lunch.
A certificate of attendance for five CPD hours for each of the two days will be available

UK Network of European Society for Trauma & Dissociation
Members of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation who are based in the United Kingdom are automatically members of ESTD-UK.
ESTD-UK strives to support and implement in the UK the aims of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation which are:-
To promote an increase in the knowledge of Trauma, Dissociation and all disorders related to chronic traumatization.
To provide professional and public education about dissociation, trauma and trauma related disorders.
To support communication and cooperation among clinicians and other professionals in the field of dissociation and trauma.
To stimulate national and international research projects.
To provide knowledge and education specifically to those countries in Europe who do not have easy access in this field.
ESTD-UK functions primarily through an online email listserv by which its members can communicate with each other, providing support, information and professional discourse about dissociation, trauma, dissociative and other trauma-related disorders.
