Description

The Mental Health and Social Change Research Group in the School of Psychology, University of East London, invites you to:

‘TRAUMA-INFORMED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES: WHY AND HOW’

A HALF DAY WORKSHOP FOR MENTAL HEALTH STAFF, SERVICE USERS AND MANAGERS

Despite the fact that abuse, trauma, discrimination and inequality have been proven to cause serious effects on the well being of individuals and communities, the dominant systemic response of psychiatric services remains biomedical.
