This training session is for all those working/volunteering with children in Waltham Forest.

Training Session Description:

Join us for an interactive training session led by Anne McPherson, Head of Functional Family Therapy and designed to explore how curiosity can enhance our ability to support individuals who have experienced trauma. This session will encourage Practitioners to ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions and develop a deeper more nuanced understanding of trauma and its impact. Through reflective discussions and practical strategies, we will explore ways to create safe, empowering, and responsive environments in our work. Whether you are a practitioner, manager, or leader, this training will provide valuable insights to strengthen your practice and promote resilience in those you support.

This session aims:

To equip Practitioners with the knowledge, skills ad reflective capacity to embed trauma informed, culturally inclusive and compassionate approaches into their practice. This training will support professionals in fostering curiosity, cultural humility and relational safety when working with individuals and communities affected by trauma, ensuring that services are responsive, equitable and healing centred.

Please note that this is a virtual event and will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
