This Masterclass aims to provide you with information to apply a trauma informed lens to your practice and to work in a trauma- informed way

Trauma-informed practice is an approach that recognises the widespread impact of trauma on individuals.

This Masterclass aims to provide you with information to apply a trauma informed lens to your practice and to work in a trauma- informed way, with a particular focus on the early years and Health Visiting practice.

Content covered will include:

· The widespread impact of trauma and signs in children and young people

· Trauma in the perinatal period

· Trauma and substance misuse

· Skills to respond and how to practice in a trauma- informed way

This Masterclass will be delivered by expert speakers working in the field and would be of relevance to practitioners working with children, young people and families who have professional backgrounds in health, social care or education. Nevertheless, we know trauma can affect any one of us at any time and so we welcome attendees with an interest in this subject field.
