Are you interested in learning more about what Trauma Informed Practice is and how it could be used in your setting?

These free 1.5hr sessions are aimed at professionals and volunteers in education and communtiy settings who would like to find out more about the models and science behind Trauma Informed Practice and key interventions we use to apply the theory in practice. We'll cover an overview of the impact of the high levels of stress caused by Adverse Childhood Experiences and the resultant impact on pupils’ learning and progress, and how our training can support you to develop school practice and capacity to support the mental health of children, young people and staff, with an opportunity to ask any questions you have. The session is appropriate for those working in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Further Education, as well as community settings supporting children, young people and adults.

Who is it for: All welcome- professionals, volunteers, governors, trustees.

Duration/Format: 1.5hrs, generally 4.00-5.530pm, online via Zoom.
