Trauma Informed Training (Awareness)

The ICB would like to invite colleagues, multi-agency and third sector organisations to embark on Trauma Informed training. The full day, in person, training provides an opportunity to understand how trauma effects the brain, body and behaviour and gives participants the opportunity to begin their Trauma Informed journey.
After attending the training, participants are invited to attend the Train the Trainer session, enabling them to deliver the Trauma Informed Training within their organisation or team.
Learning Outcomes:
· To begin to understand the transformation to becoming Trauma Informed.
· To begin to explore how Trauma affects our body, brain and behaviour.
· To be able to recognise how trauma may present in people we work alongside.
· To consider how a Trauma Informed Approach impacts on individuals and communities.
· Begin to think about changes we can make to our working practices, services, and organisations.
Who is the training for?
· Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB and NHS staff.
· Charities based in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
· Public sector staff in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Please note:
In the training we discuss traumatic experiences which may be triggering.
Where possible, please use your work email to register. Eve will send you an email confirming your place. Please contact eve.broadhurst1@nhs.net if you do not recieve an email within 3 days of registering.
Please also be aware, no lunch is provided. We recommend bringing a packed lunch or there is a cafe on site.
As the training is fully funded and provided free of charge, it is very important you attend. If you can no longer make it, please cancel your booking on Eventbrite so we can give your spot to someone on our waiting list.

Parking at the Lancaster Health Innovation Campus requires using the RingGo mobile app or an on-site, card-only payment terminal for visitors and students, as digital ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) is in operation 24/7 from October 1, 2025.
