The trauma-sensitive approach to ecotherapeutic work seeks to understand what trauma is, to recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma in clients and to increase understanding of its widespread impact. The aim of this workshop is to integrate knowledge about trauma into practices and to actively avoid re-traumatization in clients. (PLEASE NOTE: The trauma-sensitive approach is NOT about treating trauma.)
This is a two-part workshop, taking place on Thursday 8th May and Thursday 22nd May 2025.
Although these workshops are part of the Ten Directions training course for ecotherapy practitioners, anybody can book and take part. If you are interested, please do buy a ticket.
Please note that we will not be recording and, as our events are interactive, we kindly request that attendees have their cameras switched on to engage with the group experience (unless of course you have technical difficulties).
