About this event

This participatory workshop explores the intersection of travel, safety, and sustainability within the UK’s night-time economy. Drawing on key insights from the Live Music Mapping Project and the West Midlands Growth Company, the session will unpack the unique challenges faced by artists, creatives, venue operators, and late-night workers navigating urban life after dark.

Open to stakeholders from the music industry, local government, transport, policy, and community organisations — the event is designed to spark conversation, encourage collaboration, and inform more inclusive strategies for future city nightlife planning.

Whether you’re a policymaker, promoter, artist, academic, or simply passionate about nightlife culture and community wellbeing — this session is for you.

🔗 Join us to share ideas, map challenges, and co-create pathways to a safer, more accessible, and vibrant night-time economy.
