OVERVIEW
The International SOS Foundation's Duty of Care Training programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills to facilitate a safe, secure and healthy travel and work conditions for your mobile workforce.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Occupational Health and Safety Practitioners, Travel Managers, Occupational Doctors, Security Experts, Travel Risk managers, and others with equivalent experience in travel safety, health and security.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of a course, participants will be awarded a certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
PROGRAMME
Course Details
The three-day course will cover the following: Understanding travel risks, developing a travel-related risk assessment and traveller’s briefing as well as building an organisation’s travel directives and incident management plan.
Course Facilitator: Dr David Gold
David is a Chartered Member of IOSH, a member of the Swiss Public Health Association, a member of the International Commission for Occupational Health and a former Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
With over 35 years experience in occupational safety and health, fire safety, emergency management, pre-hospital emergency medicine and rescue, David worked 23 years in the United Nations system and was responsible for occupational safety and health training and education at the International Labour Office, a United Nations Specialised Agency.
