Description

Dewch i gwrdd â’r bobl leol sydd wrth galon newid cymdeithasol : Meet the local people at the heart of social change

Once the beating heart of its local community, today The Navigation Colliery is a beautiful but derelict coal mine set in 20 acres of woodland. Fifty years on from its closure, social entrepreneur Vera Jenkins is enacting an ambitious plan to restore the buildings for the benefit of local people. Connected, engaged and empowered local people like Vera are at the heart of every strong community.

Join UnLtd in Crumlin to meet social entrepreneurs in Wales who are committed to transforming people’s lives and their places for the better and find out how you can help them flourish.

This event brings together inspiring people, organisations, decision-makers, funders, and supporters from across Wales.Come along to make real long-lasting change.

Highlights of the progamme include:

A chance to peruse the pop-up marketplace and purchase exclusive products that do good.

*Enjoy walking tours of the Navigation Colliery, a derelict coalmine set in 20 acres of woodland.

*Join workshops and learn new skills – including music workshops, printmaking, flag-making, tile designing and much more.

*Have your say on how we can work together to support social entrepreneurs to improve people’s lives and the communities they live in.

There is something for all the family. Follow the conversation via social media on the #UnLtdWales hashtag.
