Trays and Trivets Willow Weaving

In our October workshop we'll be making Catalan suspension trays and simple framed ovals.

Catalan trays (pictured above with appleas) are fun to make and easy on the hands. You can make them small and deep for a trivet to protect your table and worksurfaces from hot pots, or you can make them larger for use a platter.

Simple framed ovals (pictured above with lemons) look amazing with brightly coloured fruit on or with nuts and a fancy nutcracker at Christmas...personally, I like them piled with ferrero rocher 😁

The framed oval will take the whole 3 hours but if you go for the Catalan tray you might have time to make two.

Whichever you choose, there'll be tea, coffee and a selection of cakes provided along with all materials and the use of tools.
