Discover the power of your bodies natural ability to release stress and tension with TRE.
In this womans only session you will be guided through different ways of grounding your body, what it means to self regulate and I will show you how to bring online our bodies natural shaking mechanism and guide you through a shake.
What is TRE?
Stress, anxiety and emotional holding can profoundly impact our wellbeing both in mind and body, limiting our capacity for joy and connection.
TRE provides a powerful pathway out of this state, bringing online the body’s natural tremor mechanism to release deep seated tension and discharge the nervous system.
Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, who works in areas of conflict globally. It’s an empowering tool for anyone suffering with stress, anxiety, chronic pain and held emotion/trauma. The practice aids self regulation by establishing a strong foundation in grounding helping build resilience and restoring balance within the body.
We see this same movement in animals who instinctively release any stress from their bodies by instantly tremoring when out of danger. As with humans, it’s a neurobiological process that helps to complete stress cycles in the body.
Important information
If you prefer individual session work or have a history of PTSD or complex trauma I would recommend one to one sessions. If you have complex/developmental trauma I advise a support structure including a talking therapy if you wish to practice TRE. Going slow with a supportive therapeutic relationships is key here.
